Comedian Salvador Idringi Meets Museveni Over ‘Bizonto’ Release Forgive them please

This whole last weekend has been made up of highlights that majorly involved the arrest of comedy group, Bizonto. The four men who were brutally picked up and arrested by Police at Radio Simba where they usually host a show are accused of producing content that promotes sectarianism.

Ugandans have since flooded social media demanding for their release since they believe that whatever the comics voiced in their skit was nothing but the Now Stand up comedian Patrick Idringi ‘Salvado’ has met with President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni at State House to beg him to pardon his fellow comics, the Bizonto comedians.

This follows a police raid on a local radio station which ended in the arrest of four of their renowned staff, the “Bizonto” and charging them with capitalizing on their scripted works to promote sectarianism and tribal talk.
