(born 12 June 1992), is a South African DJ and television personality. She is known for hosting the SABC 1 music show, Live Amp.

EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION
Lamiez was Born in Eersterust and grew up in Laudium. She attended Andrew Anthony Primary, then attended Sunnyside Primary and later on attended Kwaggasrand Primary. She then attended Pro Arte Alphen Park from grade 8 to 9. In 2009 she matriculated from Laudium secondary. DJ Lamiez of SABC1’s foremost live music show is the picture of success with an incredibly uplifting story, though it wasn’t without a few ups and downs.

To land the amazing gig of Live Amp host, Lamiez overcame self-esteem issues from her cross-cultural background, beat tough financial times, and dealt with a number of setbacks including an unfortunate car accident and the theft of her expensive DJ equipment, but it was all worth it when she got the call.

Today she’s a successful DJ and host, and she’s rewarded herself with something she has always dreamed of, a Harley Davidson. She and Jonathan bonded on the road while discussing her amazing journey, which wouldn’t have been possible without her incredible family.
