Makhadzi disappoints organisers after receiving money

Makhadzi, real name Ndivhudzannyi Ralivhona has been called out for not showing up for three shows in the previous year.

Event Organiser Mfundo “Thonsi” Mathons revealed to Zimoja that the singer was booked to perform on the 24th of December, 2023, but she didn’t show up; she also failed to pitch for two events at Ekus Cafe, Mdhluli Outlets in Nelspruit and Quiet Vibes in Bushbuckridge.

The Mpumalanga event organiser regrets this and demands a refund.

The South African singer charged R50 for two gigs and R35 000 for the third show.

“We went overboard to make sure that the people of Mpumalanga get to see Makhadzi performing this side since he has a huge following. She let us down, this is despite us making sure that we met her demands. We went all out, and all of our events were sold out. We even asked that since she never made it on the 24th, she must come on the 27th. She failed also to come through. We had to explain to the people that had bought tickets that we were going to reimburse them. That is a loss for us, a huge loss,” he said.

This isn’t the first time Makhadzi made headlines for disappointing organisers.
