Naledi Aphiwe has big ambitions as she gets ready for her final year of school.
The 17-year old South African school girl who gained popularity after featuring on Chris Brown’s latest album, said she’s proud of herself for being able to pay for all her back to school items with her own money.
Which shouldn’t be too hard for her to do seeing as the US singer credited her as a writer on his track Shooter.
The KwaZulu-Natal learner caught the attention of the Sensational hitmaker on TikTok, and in 2022, Brown shared a video of Naledi Aphiwe on his Instagram stories.
In awe of her incredible voice, Brown featured the talented youngster on his latest album, 11:11 and the rest as they say is history.
The move was a much-needed boost to Naledi’s aspirations to break into the SA music industry, and she wants to pursue her studies in music and drama.
Since her collaboration with Chris Brown, Naledi has been booked at a few gigs, and has done a number of interviews.
She intends to push a few music projects during the school holidays but is aiming at first passing her matric this year.
