Former YFM and eTV presenter Nhlamulo ‘DJ Mulo’ Hlungwani died on the morning of Reconciliation Day after losing his battle with cancer. In a statement yesterday, Mulo’s family confirmed his passing. “It’s with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of our beloved Nhlamulo.
on the morning of 16 December 2023. He passed away peacefully at his home in Bryanston after his battle with cancer. We know that he has touched many lives and has brought endless joy to those around him. We would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts, for all the love, support and prayers that have been coming our way,” his family said.
The family also said that they were blessed to have experienced a wonderful soul like Mulo and that they will forever remember him. Mulo was a producer and DJ on YFM a few years ago. He also worked alongside Dineo Ranaka co-hosting a MVP Jam game show on eTV. He was married to fellow TV presenter Ntokozo Molefe and they shared a 3-year-old son.
