Famous hip-hop star Nota defended DJ Sbu against Zahara trolls, saying he did his best.
Indeed, it’s a sad day for South Africa as they lost one of its finest vocalists in Zahara.
Zahara’s death left many fans in tears, and some are trying to point fingers at her death.
Most fans have since claimed that DJ Sbu did not do enough to help Zahara heal.
Since her death, DJ Sbu had been under fire from angry fans blaming him left, right and centre.
Many fans claimed that DJ Sbu took Zahara’s money, but he denied such allegations, saying that Zahara was facing alcoholism.
Sharing on his X (Twitter), Nota expressed how much Zahara struggled with alcoholism.
“A reminder that DJ Sbu did everything in his power to empower & protect Zahara, but you can’t protect someone from themselves…” he started.
“The demon of alcoholism claimed another young life. Warner Music Africa will be crying all the way to the bank & 2023 claims another generational talent!” he continued.
Indeed, many fans believed that Nota was not being realistic as they aired out their concerns.
