South Africa woke up to the sad news of Zahara’s death after she struggled with alcoholism for a long time.

 

Zahara’s family released a statement a couple of weeks ago, but most fans thought she would recover.

Unfortunately, the talented vocalist could not find her health; she lost her life.

Indeed, Zahara was a fan favourite, and her music was loved by many; they said her voice spoke to the soul.

Black Coffee also felt this as he penned a heartfelt message to the late vocalist.

“You healed so many souls:pray::skin-tone-6::heart:”

Despite having her career continually affected by health issues, Zahara continued to give fine music.

She had many hit songs like Phendula and Loliwe, which remain some of the best pieces to come out of South Africa.

She was loved beyond borders, and many fans are mourning her, crying in tears.

Indeed, alcoholism has taken yet another young soul that was loved by many.
