Lynn Forbes, AKA’s mother, touched fans’ hearts with her speech while accepting a Metro FM Music award on behalf of her son on Saturday.

As they took to the stage, Lynn and husband Tony gave the microphone to their granddaughter Kairo Forbes who entertained the crowd with her singing.

After that, Lynn took the mic and gave her speech.

She said the first time they came to the awards in 2011 it represented the start of a journey that ended this year.
