A picture of Skeem Saam actress Innocent “Inno” Sadiki on her late grandmother’s coffin has caused a stir on social media.
The Pastors Wives reality TV star took to X (formerly Twitter) to share a snap from her grandmother’s vigil with the caption: “Friday night 😭💔. The night before Gogos send off was one of the hardest nights for me. Jo 💔 I need God now more than ever. #RIP Gogo.”
‘SKEEM SAAM’ ACTRESS INNO SADIKI BLASTED FOR COFFIN PICTURE
While some sent the actress – plays Sthoko on Skeem Saam – their condolences, a greater number of netizens slammed her choice of picture.
“I find it frustrating to seek sympathy online in this way. It’s possible that you are genuinely going through pain, but it is coming across as performative or insincere. Why are we being subjected to this? Sitsini? [What must we say?]” said one X user.
“It was the hardest night yet you asked someone to take a picture of you crying and hugging a coffin🤔 Content will end you,” another X user said.
While another said: “So you guys opened a camera and went on to say, ‘shoot me while I hug the coffin’ ? Yoh.”
