Media personality Minnie Dlamini appears to have subtly addressed claims she was financially supporting her estranged husband Quinton Jones during their marriage.
MINNIE DLAMINI AND LASIZWE’S ‘AWKWARD DATE‘
During her recent 32-minute date with Lasizwe Dambuza on the social media influencer’s YouTube show, Awkward Dates, Minnie and the YouTuber got to know each other on a romantic and personal level.
While on the date, the pair spoke about their dating preferences and financial responsibilities in a relationship. Minnie also opened up about bring a single mother, also asking Lasizwe if he would like to be her Ben 10 (a younger boyfriend).
“I could totally do the rich auntie vibe,” she said. “I have been doing it for years.”
THROWING SHADE AT QUINTON?
Her remark was viewed as a subtle jab towards her estranged husband who was recently in the news for reportedly claiming spousal maintenance.
According to Zimoja in September this year, Quinton is allegedly “demanding a R10,000 monthly support” from The Honeymoon actress.

A source who claimed to be close to the estranged couple said that the TV and Radio presenter is willing to fight tooth and nail to “make sure her soon-to-be ex doesn’t benefit from her hard-earned money.”
“Can you imagine Minnie taking care of their child and also supporting him financially, she will never let it happen.
Minnie and Quinton, who share three-year-old son Netha Jones, tied the knot in 2017. The former couple shocked South Africa when they announced their seperation in February last year and have since been in the news for their messy divorce.
