DJ Black Coffee is making headlines after going down in the history books as the first South African DJ and producer to perform at New York’s famed Madison Square Garden over the weekend.
The Grammy award-winner headlined the sold-out Madison Square Garden with more than 20 000 people in attendance.In the backdrop of his big win, President Cyril Ramaphosa has congratulated the 47-year-old DJ for flying the South African flag high.
Taking to X, formerly Twitter President Cyril Ramaphosa posted: “Congratulations to Black Coffee for being the first South African DJ to perform at Madison Square Garden in New York City, USA to a sold-out show this past Saturday.”
