Like Handre Pollard, Manie Libbok has shot down social media speculation of any rivalry between the Springboks players.
Despite being pitted against each other by South Africans, the duo posed for pics together following their Rugby World Cup match against Tonga on Sunday, 1 October.
While the Boks won the match 49-18, they will await a pool-decider match between Scotland and Ireland this weekend to determine who qualifies for the quarter-finals.In SA’s game against Tonga, both Hanre Pollard and Manie Libbok made an appearance.
Pollard – who played for the first 50 minutes of the match – scored four successful conversions. Libbok later substituted him and scored three conversions himself.
Squashing any talk of competition, the stars and their wives posed for pics after the match.
On Facebook, Manie reacted to the pic with three praying hand emojis.

Ahead of the Tonga clash, SuperSport posted a clip of Manie Libbok praising Handre Pollard.
In the clip, Libbok says: “He’s a world-class fly-half player. He’s been there and done that in the World Cup for us back in 2019, which is was awesome.
“To have a guy like him back in the squad helps me a lot. He helps me a lot in my preparation and what I should look for and what I should do when I’m in certain situations in the game.”
He added: “It’s nice to have him back in the in the squad”
According to SA Rugby’s Rassie Erasmus, the Springboks management are still deliberating over whether to select either Handre Pollard or Manie Libbok to potentially play in the Rugby World Cup quarter-finals.
In a post-match briefing, he said, “Handre made four kicks and Manie three, so we kicked seven out of seven. It’s a tough call we will have to make.
