South African musician Pabi Cooper is flying the country’s flag high and she couldn’t be more proud of herself. The Wag n Bietjie hitmaker is one of a few African stars who are the faces of Spotify’s partnership with popular football team, Barcelona. The musicians have all been inducted into the recently Spotify Africa’s Barça African Connect playlist.

 

 

Taking to X (formerly Twitter) Pabi shared a post of herself which was posted on the official Barcelona Instagram page. In the comment section, her fans marvelled over her success as they discussed how much she has grown as an artist and influencer.Just a few years ago, amapiano hitmaker Pabi Cooper was working hard to make a name for herself.

Today her music is viral, she has millions of fans and she is doing amazing partnerships with some of the biggest brands in the world.

Pabi is among a few other African musicians such as Focalistic and Ch’cco who form part of Spotify Africa’s Barça African Connect playlist which is in partnership with Barcelona.Her songs, sphithiphithi and Banyana Ke Bafana, feature on the playlist.

Taking to X, the musician marvelled over the achievement while sharing a snap of herself wearing a Barcelona t-shirt.

Her fans showed up in numbers to congratulate Pabi on the achievement. Many of them called her a huge inspiration.
