Millionaire Mbalenhle Mavimbela, known for the role of Hlomu on The Wife, bought herself a new car.

Mbalenhle Mavimbela (born January 14, 1997) is a 25-year-old bubbly South African actress best known for her playing Tandzile in an E.tv drama Isipho. The rising star played Thandi in season one of the South African medical telenovela titled Duban Gen. In 2021, she appeared in various local drama series including Skeem Saam, House of Zwide, and Judas Kiss.
Mbalenhle Mavimbela was born in the small town of Ladysmith, KwaZulu-Natal on January 14, 1997. Growing up, she was bubbly, and adventurous, and loved to explore and experience the outdoors.


 

As a young child, she was quite inquisitive and loved to play outside with the boys. Her grandmother Thembi Mavimbela and her mother Tholakele disciplined her to be the strong-willed woman she is today. Mbalenhle was also drawn to sports as a young child but developed a love for acting in high school.

She learned to act in the streets. Education Mbalenhle Mavimbela studied travel and tourism at the Durban University of Technology. She had her high school education at the prestigious Pinetown Girls High School. Career Mbalenhle has featured in many television shows, telenovela, and drama series. She played Thandi in season one of the local telenovela Durban Gen and the serial Uzalo. In season 7 of Isibaya, she was featured as a Negotiator, and in season 2 of #Karektas as a Celebrity Guest. In 2019, she played her first lead role Isipho on the E.TV drama series titled Isipho. Later in June 2021, she played Zama Zulu in the SABC1 drama series Judas Kiss. She was cast as Kwanele on the drama series House of Zwide and Nothile in Skeem Saam. Mbalenhle Mavimbela played the lead role of a journalist called Hlomu on the Showmax telenovela The Wife in October 2021. Hlomu fell in love with a cabby without knowing that you inherit a man’s secret after wedding him. On October 5, 2021, she was a nominee for Best Actress Film at Simon Mabhunu Sabela KZN Film and Television. Personal Life Mbalenhle is single and has no boyfriend, for now, she is focused on her work. She is doing great and drives a BMW worth R600,000. She dearly loves domestic animals and owns a horse named Joco. On June 16, Mavimbela shared a picture of her riding her horse.
