Kairo, the popular eight-year-old daughter of the slain rapper AKA – real name Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, was gifted a cellphone as seen in an Instagram video posted on 11 September.

Kairo Forbes was left speechless after seeing her present. The bubbly girl was gifted a luxurious Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 that cost a whopping R18 000. After watching Kairo in the video, unwrap her gift, social media users said that her reaction was just absolutely “priceless”.

This is because, when Kairo saw her phone for the first time, her eyes were almost bulging out of her face as she jumped up and down in excitement. Her grandmother from her father’s side, Lynn, got to witness the sweet reaction first-hand as she was in the room with Kairo when she unwrapped her present.

Although she lost her dad this year, Kairo’s year has been filled with a number of life-changing opportunities. Not only did she partner with Nedbank in their Chow Town campaign, but she also got her first advert gig with the organisation.

Recently, fans have come out in numbers and expressed that they were concerned that Kairo was allegedly being used for social media likes.
