South African actor Wiseman Mncube met Mandoza’s family, and his sons saw their dad in him.
The talented actor had been making all sorts of headlines following his Nkalakatha performance.
His performance divided fans; some suggested he failed to produce the Mandoza performance.
However, It seemed that what these fans saw in Wiseman’s performance was the opposite of what Mandoza’s family saw.
The family saw a man who reminded them of their father; even Mandoza’s wife was also happy with Wiseman Mncube.
With such a connection, as expressed by Wiseman, some fans agreed that Mandoza is smiling.

One of my best moments was with these two gentle souls Mandoza’s first and second born sons Tumelo and Tokollo Tshabalala. They way they appreciate and honour the way I carried their father’s story it’s humbling. From the first day I met them till today they never called me by my name or any other name but THAYIMA which means dad. That alone means soooo much to me because it means they really saw their dad in me.” he said.He continued speaking of Mandoza’s wife and how she looked at him,
“Second frame takes the cup…performing Nkalakatha and singing Mandozas verses with his wife Sis Mpho Tshabalala in front of me and the way she looked at me with that beautiful smile made me believe that grootman is smiling in heaven. Ngyabonga kakhulu 🙏🏾” he finished.
