Miss South Africa (Miss SA) viewers have accused pageant organisers of “favouring” Top 10 finalist Natasha Joubert.
Some have even claimed that the competition is rigged in her favour.
Natasha – a 2020 Miss SA Top 3 runner-up – is competing for the second time in the hopes of winning the title. Her competitiveness and determination has seen her win three consecutive Crown Chasers reality TV episodes.

Pageant spokesperson Janine Walker told The South African: “Natasha wanted to enter again, and Miss South Africa Organisation rules allow her participation.”
According to the pageant FAQ and eligibility regulations, applicants who placed as finalists in previous competitions may enter again. However, it stipulates: “The applicant may not have placed as a runner-up within the two preceding pageant years nor have previously held the title of Miss South Africa.”
