Following a week-long Umhlanga Reed Dance, King Mswati III introduced his virgin wife.

After a week-long Umhlanga Reed Dance that began on August 29 and finished on September 4, King Mswati III recently unveiled his virgin wife.

The King of Swaziland chose Siphelele Mashwama, the 19-year-old daughter of a Cabinet Minister, as his 15th wife because she is the most attractive woman in the kingdom.

A new queen is selected for King Mswati every year in a well-known reed ritual that takes place in either September or October.

During the eight-day event, which attracts thousands of single women and girls from all around the country, potential brides are publicly questioned about their virginity.

In 1986, King Mswati 3 became ruler of Eswatini. It is the norm in his territory for the ruler to wed multiple wives from different families. Two of the fifteen wives he’s had have passed away, and two more have left him.

As reported by Business Insider SSA, the 54-year-old has wed a slew of beautiful royalty. Below is a picture of the wives.
