And to whet the viewers’ appetite, the channel has even released a teaser of what’s to come.

The new season of Uyajola 9/9 will kick off on Sunday, 6 August, at 21:30 on the DStv channel.

Last week, Uyajola presenter Jub Jub handed himself over to police after a warrant of arrest was issued in his name. The charges – which were made by four women, one of them being Amanda du Pont – pertain to the period between 2006 and 2009.

After appearing at the Johannesburg Magistrates Court, the TV presenter and muso was released on R10 000 bail. But that hasn’t stopped Moja Love from going ahead with one of their most popular shows – Uyajola 9/9. Shortly after Jub Jub made headlines, the channel claimed that it would “monitor the progress in this matter”. It also claimed that it would “allow the law to take its course.”

It has since released a teaser clip of what to expect on the show, modelled on the US show Cheaters.
