Renowned singer, songwriter and actress Kelly Khumalo has reacted after being dropped from the line up of Tribute To Women festival, amid the ongoing developments in the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial.
The “Ngathwala Ngaye” hitmaker was scheduled to perform alongside Amanda Black, Nkosazana Daughter, Mafikizolo and Kabza De Small before being dropped in the upcoming Johannesburg show.

On Tuesday, renowned singer, songwriter and actress Kelly Khumalo who was phoned twice by one of the suspects accused of the murder of her then boyfriend Senzo Meyiwa took to her Instagram stories where she reacted after being dropped from the upcoming Tribute To Women festival line up.
The multi-award winning and multi-platinum selling singer took to the popular platform where she re-shared a post which was initially shared by one of her fans and who had written, “Ngeke Bakuqede”, which can loosely be translated to, “They will not finish you off”.
In reply, Kelly Khumalo who was one of the occupants inside her family home in Vosloorus when the father of her daughter Senzo Meyiwa was gunned down in an alleged home invasion on 26 October 2014 wrote, “Noma Sebefuna”, which can loosely be translated to, “Even if they try”.
