Given that he was born on November 30, 1990, Dladla Mshunqisi is 28 years old. Sese Dladla, his father, is one of KwaZulu-Natal’s most admired citizens since he was a pioneering and well-known cab operator.

The Gqom musician’s ability to live his goal and find his passion for music and cuisine was greatly influenced by the success and affluence of his family.

 

 

 

 

 

His parents reared him and his five siblings—three brothers and two sisters—together. Mashunqi thinks he would be able to thrive in his business endeavors, which include restaurants and music.

He said, “I started appreciating cooking when I was nine years old. I always assisted my mother in the kitchen because she enjoys cooking, up to the age of 12, when I began cooking for the entire family.

He began working as a chef on a volunteer basis at the age of 16 for the hospitality and management firm “ServePro.” His dedication and hard work helped him secure the job of company head cook after graduating from high school. He began making investments in his own business in 2011
