On his post Akin wrote that his father was an actor and play writer which many may remember that he did the Vodacom advertisement in the early 2000s and even played the role of Chief Abayomi on MNET’s drama “Jacob ‘s cross”.

 

 

 

This also shows that Akin followed into his father’s footsteps as he has acted and even createdAkin is a familiar face on the South African small screen having starred in Isidingo, Generations where he played Khaya Motene, Double Shift and Big Okes.

In 2008 he joined the cast of the M-Net drama series Jacob’s Cross for its third season playing the role of Femi, a UK-schooled and educated ex-Nigerian who arrives in Nigeria with a major secret, the same show his father starred in.
