Correctional Services Department has allegedly denied allegations that Thabo Bester’s co-accused, Doctor Nandipha Magudumana is receiving special treatment behind bars. She is being held at the hospital division of the Bizzah Makhate prison in Kroonstad. But according to the department, this is for her own good.

 

 

Earlier this week, the National Commissioner of Correctional Services Makgothi Thobakgale gave media representatives a walkabout of both Nandipha and Thabo Bester’s prison surroundings.

While Nandipha is reportedly kept in comfort at the hospital wing, Bester is held in complete isolation at the Kgosi Mampuru prison in Pretoria.

But following claims that Magudumana was given “special treatment” by not being housed with other offenders, Thobakgale revealed the real reasons why.

In a clip posted on social media, the public are given a glimpse at the Kroonstad prison hospital, where the celebrity doctor is kept in custody.
