Ninety-three-year-old muso Zamile Dyibishe, who is trending on social media, says he won’t rest until he builds his wife, five children and 10 grandchildren a beautiful home through his music.
The Amagugu alomhlaba ayotshabalala hit maker has appealed to government departments and municipalities to stop making excuses about his age.
Instead, they must book him for their events to achieve his dream.
Dyibishe, who celebrated his birthday on June 8, says through the power of social media his music has spread far and wide and he is now treated like a celebrity wherever he goes.
The Dispatch caught up with the nonagenarian at the popular Ebuhlanti picnic spot in East London on Saturday.
Dyibishe, who lives in Mdantsane, was clearly popular, with children, beachgoers and hawkers greeting him.
