On 2023 March 8, Emtee handed himself over to the police and was charged with assault. However, this week, Sunday Word reported that the charges against him are withdrawn, after he appeared in court on Tuesday last week. In a statement seen by the publication, Nicole said she forgave the rapper for the sake of their kids.

Mthembeni Ndevu, popularly known as Emtee, has filed papers to divorce his wife, Nicole Chinsamy.

A source revealed to TshisaLIVE Emtee had moved out of the flat he shared with Nicole, and was staying with a friend in Fourways after filing for divorce in April.

Now it has been reported that Nicole Chinsamy has exposed Mthembeni Ndevu that he uses drugs and it seems like he’s addicted.
