DJ Sumbody’s girlfriend, Tlotlisang Moloi, was evicted from the artiste’s luxurious home in Gauteng by the DJ’s family after his funeral. A person close to the family told Sunday World this week, that Moloi, who had been in a relationship with DJ Sumbody for 13 years and lived with him for six years at his luxurious Copperleaf golf estate in Centurion, had been ordered to leave the house.
The source said the family approached Moloi and told him to leave the house to get rid of the evil spirit possessing the house.
Since, then, the source said, Moloi has not been allowed to return at the house and now lives elsewhere in Pretoria. The family’s decision to remove her from the house earned her great sympathy from DJ Sumbody’s close friends.
“They met when Oupa [DJ Sumbody] was unknown and didn’t have anything, we were shocked when she was told to vacate their home because the family wanted to do a cleaning since their son stayed there with her. It has almost been more than six months and she is planning to take legal action against the Sefokas”. The source said.
The source said Moloi’s lawyers are known to have sent a letter to the DJ’s business partner, asking him to reclaim some of the property. When Moloi and her family tried to meet with Sefoka family regarding the property and the grieving process, Sefoka’s mother, Violet Sefoka, who was named executor of the muso estate, refused to meet with Moloi and her parents.
“The family is saying she does not deserve anything as they were not married and all of Oupa’s assets were registered in his mother’s name”. The source added.
