Wiz Khalifa leaves South Africans in stitches after vibing to Amapiano

Amapiano (Zulu or Xhosa for “the pianos”) is a subgenre of house music that emerged in South Africa in the mid-2010s. It is a hybrid of deep house, jazz, and lounge music characterized by synths and wide percussive basslines. Over the years Amapiano music has gone on to be one of the most popular music genres in Africa, and it seems as if Western countries such as The United States, and many others are not getting a taste of Amapiano music, as there have been multiple videos on social media showing clubs, Gyms and even American Celebrities dancing to Amapiano music, which is quite an achievement for all artists that are in the Amapiano genre.

Speaking of American celebrities dancing to Amapiano, there is a video of Wiz Khalifa that has been getting quite a lot of attention on social media lately, and it seems as if the video has left quite a lot of South Africans impressed with the video.

The video shows Wiz Khalifa bopping and dancing to an Amapiano song called “Zula Zula”, and the most impressive part about this whole video is the fact that the song was being played at what seems to be a house party.

This video seems to have left a lot of South Africans proud to see that their music is finally being played across borders, and this can only mean one thing for the Amapiano genre, and that is the fact that it will grow.
