Generations: The Legacy has confirmed actress Nompilo Maphumulo has joined the cast.
The actress left Uzalo after being on the show playing the character Nosipho for years.
She shared a snap of herself on her Instagram timeline and her followers started speculating she had joined the production. She remained mum but dropped hints.
“June 13 you are going to love her. I’ll keep you posted Ntwana Zaaaaam,” she wrote.
TshisaLIVE reached out to Generations: The Legacy, who said the actress will start appearing in the show soon.
“Generations: The Legacy wishes to extend a warm welcome to Nompilo Maphumulo. She will play the role of Buhle, an old connection of Mrekza’s who comes bearing a life-changing reminder of his past. She will be on air from June 13 and viewers can look forward to Nompilo’s easy charm warming our screens at the usual 8pm slot.”
She previously posted how she will miss playing Nosipho after she left Uzalo almost two weeks ago.
