She’s not ready for therapy: Babes Wodumo’s sister speaks out on her breakdown

IN-LAWS DRAMA CONTINUES

ZiMoja reported last week that Mampintsha’s mother, Zamanguni Gumede, had suffered a minor stroke and liver complications and was in the hospital. In order to transport their mother to a private hospital, Mampintsha’s sister reached out to his supporters. I’ve been told that the Simelane family is aware that she is in the hospital, but I’m afraid to call them and act like I’m harassing them. I have no idea what we did to them. We are not avaricious; I just want her to be fine so that she can cope with the death of her son. The doctor needs to remove the new teeth that Mandla put on her, but he can’t because we don’t have the money. Even the new teeth are starting to rot and need to be taken out.

Pinky claims that going to her mother’s hospital visit costs money. I even hesitate to ask for their assistance. I am running out of money because each day’s trip to the hospital to see uMa costs more than R140. According to the Simelane family, Mampintsha’s family has not informed them of Zamanguni’s hospitalization. ZiMoja is informed by the sister of Babes Wodumo that they do not believe she is in the hospital. Pinky would call us and inform the family if she was extremely ill.

people were devastated and worried about Babes Wodumo when she broke down while performing Big Nuz’s hit song Ngeke on stage last weekend. However, her sister Nondumiso has assured fans not to be concerned. Baby is fine. She cries sometimes and is fine other days, and every day is different. Nondumiso added, “But we are giving her space.”

Nondumiso stated that Babes was unprepared for therapy. Nondumiso stated in response to reports that the family had taken Mampintsha’s phone away from Babes: “She will go when she is ready.” We have not taken Mandla’s or her phone. We are letting her handle the situation however she sees fit. They are all trying to come to terms with Mampintsha’s death, Nondumiso adds. We all have different experiences. We are adjusting, but we won’t force Babes to mourn in any way we think is appropriate. adding that Babes is being given space by her parents as well. Even though my dad is old, he has no idea what’s going on on social media. He is aware of everything we say. The man must be left alone.

Drama and tension between the Simelane and Maphumulo families persist. Why has nobody contacted us? Nondumiso Simelane inquires. Pinky has a serious issue. Nobody wants the evil sister-in-law she is. She continues, “She made sure she made life difficult for everyone when that didn’t happen. She wanted to choose a wife for Mandla.” Babes even attempted to reconcile with the mother-in-law, but Pinky stopped them. Despite the fact that Babes provided groceries for the funeral arrangements, she is still unreceptive. She is going around telling people that we did not receive Mandla’s life insurance. She is wicked.

Pinky has since provided ZiMoja with information stating that Mampintsha’s mother has been diagnosed with TB. She says, “We are still waiting for the final tests to tell us what kind of TB it is.” We will have a clear understanding of the problem once she is transferred to a different ward. After losing her voice, Zamanguni is recovering well and can now speak. She was unable to walk or speak last week, but she looks much better today. She is definitely improving. She is taking her medication and eating. Pinky adds, “We will know after receiving the new batch of blood tests. We just need results so she can take the correct treatment for the specific TB.”
