If youʼre a 7de Laan fan, then this is going to absolutely break your heart, because after 23 AMAZING years of entertaining us and keeping us glued to our screens, the soapie is coming to an END this year 😭.

 

The show has released a press statement (available on their social media) saying the long-running soapie comes to an end December 2023.To say I am SHOCKED AND HEARTBROKEN is an ABSOLUTE understatement!

I have literally been watching the show since I was in primary school! My mom and I would bond on Sundays watching the repeats. How do I break these news to her? What is to become of us without the trials and tribulations of the Laan?

Yes the show has been losing the plot for a while now, but I genuinely thought they would make it! This is the end of an era.
