Semakaleng “Mongy” Mathobela (born in 1992) is a South African digital entrepreneur, club host and socialite.

 

 

 

She was born and raised in Seshego, Limpopo and relocated to Johannesburg to get a better life and that’s where she became famously known for her style in fashion, boisterous personality and influence on social media.

Mongy became well known because of her skit videos which entailed real, relatable content that girls weren’t comfortable discussing but always wanted to get across to one another without being judged, so her social media presence grew authentically attracting engagement from a lot of people including public figures/celebrities. She is the founder of DoroSkin and DoroLashes and she has used the power of her social media platforms to run her amazing businesses as markting platforms and being club host and working with well-known premium clubs in South Africa.

People on social media sometimes they don’t respect people’s privacy. Just because someone is a public figure it doesn’t mean people have the right to invade their private life on social media. People should learn to draw the line not everything is meant for social media, especially things like homes and children if people don’t share them on social media it means they want it to stay out of social media.

But because we have people like Musa Khawula who doesn’t care about people’s privacy, he took to his social media account and share mongy’s house in Seshego Polokwane with the caption: A look at Doro Mongy’s home in Seshego; Polokwane.

By posting this video he probably thought people were going to laugh at Mongy or drag her and say why she doesn’t fix the house, but people were not impressed at what Musa did, as they felt that what Musa Khawula did was wrong, they say just because Mongy has money it doesn’t mean she has to go around doing things to please people, they continue to say Mongy did mention that her parents are late and there is no reason for her to fix that house but whoever stays there must fix that house. While someone says the least she can do is but a neat ceiling and a pavement.

People need to understand that Mongy has a life of her of own and she’s got things to do with her money. What if the people who stay in that house have money and they are working, they can’t expect Mongy to do everything for th and what if she contributed in building that house. Musa needs to give celebrities a break they are also human he can’t be dragging their personal lives on social media like this it’s wrong.
