1. Doja Cat
Doja Cat, whose true name is Zandile Dlamini, grew up in Los Angeles. Dumisani Dlamini, the rapper’s father, is a well-known Zulu actor best remembered for playing Crocodile in Sarafina and Mbodla in Isibaya. Deborah Sawyer, a white American Jew, is Zandile’s mother. After 15 years of marriage, Doja Cat’s father decided to travel to South Africa because he missed his family and left her mother and brother behind.
2. Gugulethu Mbatha-Raw
After acting in Tom Hanks’ comedy Larry Crowne and the brief-lived television series Undercovers and Touch, the actress is best recognized for her role in the science-fiction series Doctor Who. Gugu is the name of the daughter of Zulu South African physician Patrick Mbatha and white English nurse Anna Raw.
3. Nomzamo Mbatha
Nomzamo Mbatha was born in KwaMashu, KwaZulu Natal, a community with a Zulu majority 21 kilometers from Durban. In an audition for an MTV show, Nomzamo came in second, giving her a foothold in the entertainment industry. Prior to getting the role of Mirembe in the Hollywood film Coming 2 America, she went on to star in a number of South African programs and films.

4. Sopho Mbedu
Her father is Xhosa and Sotho, as her multiracial name implies, and her mother is Zulu.
