No doubt Pholoso Masombuka – affectionately known as Toss, has been winning big since his thrust into the limelight.

Against the backdrop of his newfound fame, he has fast become one of the most booked artists. However, his big wins have often taken a toll on his career.

 

He once hogged headlines when he collapsed while performing. In the backdrop of the incident, it was revealed that it was fatigue. However, months later, he has managed to remain relevant and consistent.

Toss is trending after South Africans connected the dots about his age in the backdrop of his birthday. He is younger than we thought. Toss’ age left many puzzled.He was born on 17 July 1999 in Tsakane, East of Johannesburg. The 24-year-old had his shot to fame in the backdrop of his smash hit uMlando.

He took to social media and thanked his fans and fellow celebrities for their warm birthday wishes.

However, of interest is that he also had a passion for soccer and was reportedly part of the Kaizer Chiefs development team. Rumour mill has it that he even got his ‘Toss’ nickname while still part of the Chiefs development team.

He switched the floor to music in 2014. In one of his interviews, he revealed that he told his parents he would pursue music right after matric. However, it wasn’t rosy as he thought, and he almost called it quits until uMlando happened.
