Cassper Nyovest believes he is one of the most hated music artist in South Africa.

on Tuesday, the rapper perceived being trolled by DJ Speedsta, over buying a new car amid COVID-19, and he responded with; “Envy will be the death of you niggas”.

A fan questioned why he is being hated.

“@casspernyovest i still don’t understand why thy hate u, why they pray for ur downfall, why the pretend like u didn’t change the game, rewrite history and show us we dnt need an American artist to fill up stadiums, you’re Hip Hop n the backbone of the industry. Its all luv Big bro,” fan tweeted.

In response, Cassper reveals 7 interesting reasons people hate him.

“Cause I’m black, self made, young, intelligent, fearless , unconventional & I didn’t go to school but I still made history and changed the game & lives. Anybody can make money, it takes a legend to touch lives and make a positive impact forever. I’m in the books, it’s written!!!”

Sbahle Mpisane has taken to her social media to dish out advice to her fans on how to make 2021 a perfect year for them.

2020 is a year most people will not like to experience again as most people lost their jobs, loved ones and their source of livelihood.

Taking to Instagram, Sbahle mentioned that the end of 2020 is a new beginning for us all as she advices them to to start all over again in 2021 but to continue in growth.

She said: “The end of 2020 is a new beginning for us all, but that doesn’t mean that we must start over from square one! Continuity will give us roots which will let us spout, grow and reach new heights.”

Sbahle continued saying if there is no end, there will never be a new start as she urges her people to await a fresh start and make 2021 a perfect year.

“Without an end, there would be no new start. I await for a fresh start as it’s been a year of so many intense levels. No matter how disappointing and painful this year has been for most of us, including myself, I have personally learnt so much more from it.

Take sometime to question the relationships you have kept, the strength of your support system, your hand reach to many others without expecting a return, decoding the various meanings of silence love & so much more etc…

The DJ is one of the happiest person today, as he’s recorded amazing feat this year.

The star took to social media this morning after the clock had rung on her birthday to celebrate it. On the 30th of December, the Modiadie family was blessed with a sweet addition to the family. In a post, she promised to redeem the brand to new heights.

I’d like to think I am the perfect mix between power and sophistication and the Boulevard brand mirrors that nicely. I see great potential for Boulevard Rosè to go to new heights with my signature touch,” she said.

Tributes flooded social media on Wednesday after the death of veteran actor, radio broadcaster, theatre legend and media mogul Mahuma Paul Rapetsoa.

His death was confirmed by his son, Matome, on Tuesday evening.

“It is with great sadness to announce the passing of our father, brother and colleague Mr Mahuma Paul Rapetsoa. “Bra Paul” passed away today at 18:56. May your wonderful soul rest in peace Mokwena,” he wrote in a short statement on Facebook.

No further details were given.

Rapetsoa lit up radio, stage and screens for several decades, producing, directing and performing in several major productions, with many hailing him as “the father of township theatre” in Limpopo and beyond. He also headed the drama department at SABC radio station Thobela FM.

Rapetsoa played the role of Josias in the popular SABC1 series Skeem Saam and mentored the late Charles “Big Boy” Maja.

Maja died in April. Speaking to Sowetan at the time, Rapetsoa said he was heartbroken by his protégé’s passing.

“As a trained stage actor myself, I taught Charles [that] in radio dramas you are act like [you would] in a stage or TV show. He was always hungry to learn. Even when he got a job in Skeem Saam he told me. His death is a big loss to our industry.”

Rapetsoa was also remembered for uplifting communities around Limpopo and mentoring young talent there and further afield.

In 2017 he gave a touching speech at the annual prize-giving awards at Taxila Secondary School in Polokwane, where he encouraged pupils to never give up on their dreams.Fans, shocked by Rapetsoa’s passing, spoke of the guidance he had given them, while others shared life lessons he had taught.

In a statement, Skeem Saam said Rapetsoa would “forever be remembered and sorely missed”.
