The singer rocked an elegant black and white dress to the event, appreciating her fashion designer for helping her look girly.

Upon securing the wins, she took to social media to express gratitude.

“When God approves you no one can stop it Musician of the year, fag hag of the year 2021, to all my kings and queens thank you. I’d also like to thank @thamidish and the @featherssa for believing in me,” she said.

Lady Du claims she’s now a multi-award winning musician, as she recently bagged a win at Amapiano Awards 2021.

The star took her fans on a trip down memory lane to ten years ago when she represented SA in the Miss World pageant.

In her post, Bokang went on to thank her fans for making it possible for her and also sharing her plans of going back to the world of pageants.

“10 years ago I was on the @missworld stage representing my beautiful country SA. Going into to this and fully understanding that this would be my last pageant I went in to have fun and hoped to come back with the African title of Miss World Africa and that’s exactly what I did. Placing top 7 and getting the African title meant so much to me.”

Bokang also make those who do not understand why she returned to the beauty pageant world.

She said that she was doing it to ensure women and girls had the same opportunities she had.

She wrote: “For those who might not fully understand why I’m getting back in the pageant industry and planning to dominate and give women and girls like me the same opportunities I had, this is why! Because I have walked this road and I have enjoyed every moment and because the pageant industry changed my life! Happy 10 years anniversary to all the beautiful queens I walked this journey with may we rise from the ashes and birth other queens.”

The star has taken the main role of Keddyborn Manamera, an exotic and beautiful Sotho girl born and raised in Orlando East, Soweto

The movie sports a star-studded cast and will make its debut on DSTV’s box office later in November.

With excitement, Bokang said she is blessed to be doing life with him and she is so happy how far they have come.

The star dropped the EP in 2020 and many of her fans praised her.

Taking to Instagram, Yolanda thanked her fans and lovers for the support they showed her in her music.

She stated that the love she got is the “confidence booster I needed”.
