The Bayangihleka singer told Zimoja that she left the group to focus on her solo career, her publishing company and her artist hub for women, children, and the LGBQTI community.

“We had a good run. I’m grateful for everything -good and bad. I grew up as the child of The Soil,” Buhle says. I have graced local and international stages and performed at some of the biggest festivals in front of huge audiences here and abroad. I can never replace the time I have had with the group, but it’s time to grow and face this cut throat industry on my own. I know I can do it.”

THEO OFFICIALLY TAKES OVER FROM BUHLEBENDALO
The two remaining group members, Ntsika and Luphindo Ngxanga, said The Soil is not going to be the same without Buhle dali.

“We support her and wish her all the best in her new endeavour,” the two brothers said.

The singers also welcomed their new recruit, Theo Matshoba.

“In the same breath, we are exceedingly excited by the beautiful dynamic that Theo’s rare gift brings to the group’s creative ethos.”

Theo iis no stranger to The Soil as she briefly filled in for Buhlendalo in 2016, when the songstress accepted her spiritual calling.

‘UTHANDO LODUMO’ SEASON THREE

When Mampintsha, real name Mandla Maphumulo died in December last year after suffering a stroke, fans thought it would be the end of the show. However, in March, Zimoja reported that the show would go on.

 

“Babes is trying to secure her future especially after her husband died, she has a family to take care of including a small baby.

“The show received such good reviews that the TV channel had no choice but to give the show another season,” a source revealed to the publication.

BABES WODUMO’S ALLEGED HEALTH SCARE
In July, Babes took to her Instagram to share that she is in studio and fans should brace themselves for more music.

This followed shortly after IsiZulu newspaper Isolezwe reported that she is critically ill.

The publication reported, at the time, that its sources revealed that Babes was in and out of hospital due to an undisclosed. Sources claimed that Babes was severely ill and suffers from shortness of breath.

Another source claimed that her husband Mampitsha’s death had taken its toll on her.

However, Babes’ sister and manager Nondumiso Simelane denied the reports, saying that the Wololo hitmaker was in good health.

“[Babes Wodumo] is in great health. Maybe her silence on social media is why they are assuming she is not well. She is currently busy with two albums, her own and Mampintshas,” Nondumiso said.

It was reported that Leeroy’s ex-wife, who cannot be named for legal reasons, laid a criminal complaint against him after he defied a court order to return a luxury vehicle he gave her as a gift, Sunday World reported. Mihlali, whom the wife also accused of ruining her marriage, is currently using the vehicle as her own.

The wife obtained an order from the Johannesburg High Court, which forced him to return her Range Rover Autobiography. The order also forced Leeroy to pay spousal maintenance and accommodation rent to his children and ex-wife, the report said.

 

 

 

 

In the papers, the wife said the businessman lied when he said he could not return the vehicle because he had taken it to PT Paint and Panelbeaters for repairs.

According to The South African, the wife had argued that because her ex could afford to shower Mihlali with luxury gifts and vacations, he could afford to pay spousal maintenance to the amount of R156 000.

Additionally, she also argued that the businessman was paying for the social media personality’s up-market cluster house in Bryanston, which was said to be more than the R100 000 he aid for the bond of their marital home.

There were multiple other high-value transactions that occurred, including R50 000 on liquor on 28 May, R11 000 in a single transaction on a single transaction in April and a further R13 000 at a clothing store in Sandton on 28 July, among many others.

In the court papers, she further said that her estranged husband laughed at her and told her that the police in Sandton would never arrest him because they do his bidding.
