At the beginning of the third season of the Mzansi Magic’s telenovela; Gomora, Sibongile character played by Nandipha Khubone got herself involved in a romantic relationship with a sugar daddy; Mr Leballo; character played by Aubrey Mmakola. Mr. Leballo slept with Sbongile, she never wanted to, she was pressured by him and felt like she was obliged to do whatever he wants because of the things he was doing for her. He bought her an expensive cellphon, weave, taking her out and giving her some money.

We all know that the South African law doesn’t approve an old man being in a relationship with a school girl who is below the age of 16. Well, a case of rape was laid against Mr. Leballo, and Sbongile has been asked to testify against him. She promised to her mother; Zodwa, character played by the award-winning actress; Sana Mchunu that she won’t omit anything, she is going to drag Mr. Leball down when testifying, to ensure that he rots in jail.

Well, the July teasers reveals that Mr. Leballo is going to be out on bail. He is going to manipulate Sbongile again by buying her a new wardrobe just to make her not testify against him, we all know that Sbongile loves glamorous things. Zodwa will try by all means to keep Mr. Leballo away from Sibongile, but she won’t succeed because Sibongile is going to refuse to testify against Mr. Leballo as she promised.

History is going to repeat itself as Sbongile going to be kicked out the house by Zodwa. However, this time around it’s going to be difficult for her to get helped. I think after Mr. Leballo won the case, he’s going to turn against Sbongile.

Gomora airs on Mzansi Magic Monday to Friday at 19:30.
