Thami Mngqolo and Xolisa Xaluva, who portrayed Senzo and Jason in the previous generations, have joined Code 13.In Mzansi Magic’s Code 13, actors Thami Mngqolo and Xolisa Xaluva, who played love interests Senzo and Jason, will reconcile.

In the drama series, Xaluva, who presently plays Caesar in Smoke and Mirrors, will portray tough Jozi detective Bheki Ndlovu.

An insider revealed to Zimoja that Dandala has replaced Xaluva, who will start shooting for season two of the e.tv telenovela.Former Generations and Isono star Thami Mngqolo will portray the role of Dr. Pitso in the Mzansi Magic Sunday night drama.

 

Aluve Mjali, who plays Marcus “Mamba” Moagi, a highly adept hacker, will also feature in the upcoming season.Zikhona Bali plays Azania, Primo Baloyi plays Veli “Veja” Mohalanyane, and Saint Seseli plays Patrick.

Mzansi Magic reports that Code 13 is set in the gritty heart of Joburg and follows the story of Bheki Ndlovu, a no-nonsense Jozi detective.The publication adds that his personal life plays a significant role, as his love interest is also his colleague.

He’s got a knack for connecting the dots and solving complex cases, together with a hard-edged police unit. Bheki is tasked with recapturing six of the city’s most dangerous criminals who escaped while in custody from a police van.

Can Bheki really trust his team of too skilled and conceited law enforcement officers to bring down this deadly group of escaped individuals? The three main themes of the upcoming drama series Code 13 on Mzansi Magic are betrayal, corruption, and criminality.

Clement Maosa is a South African actor, musician, voice-over artist, model, and radio DJ. The actor is best known for his work as Zamokuhle Seakamela in the show Skeem Saam, which is an SABC1 soapie.
