Khanya Mkangisa’s academic qualifications stun Mzansi

The 32-year-old year actress we all love to hate grew up in the remote areas of the Eastern Cape. A single parent raised her; her mother, Vuyokazi Mkangisa and her father dumped them when she was still a toddler. However, her mother made sure she would put food on the table for her daughter, although she struggled to make ends meet.

 

 

 

 

 

Khanya Mkagisa did her matric at a local boarding school, and she became a responsible young lady and studied hard to excel in her studies to make her single mother proud. She was also a netball player, and her netball skills made her famous at her school.Although she was a great netball player, she passed her matric with good grades, and she enrolled for tertiary education. She studied a Bachelor of Arts in motion photography and television at the University of Johannesburg.

After her graduation, she became a full-time entertainer, and she has been winning big in her career. She has featured in several acting roles on tv, and she has proven that she is not in the entertainment industry to play. She is here for serious business; her character on The Queen is a testament.

Nasty C addresses the beef between him and A-Reece. The beef has long existed, but Daddy Oliver bears the truth about the beef which he referred to as “the weirdest thing ever. On L-Tido’s podcast, Nasty C says the beef is complicated and a misunderstanding. I don’t know what that thing is… It’s like complicated, it’s like a misunderstanding. It’s fvcking dumb, it’s stupid.He further revealed that he and Reece don’t know what started the beef. However, he has reached out to A-Reece multiple times in other to prove to the world that there is no hate between them.

Black Coffee, the first South African to headline Madison Square Garden

As the first South African DJ to headline Madison Square, Black Coffee continues to wave the South African flag worldwide. The Grammy Award-winning musician also announced the line up for his iconic performance at The Garden on 7 October at his ultimate send-off party.Black Coffee is headlining his own show at Madison Square Garden next weekend and on Thursday explained why only some of his favs are going with him. Black Coffee will become the first South African act to headline at the revered Madison Square Garden venue in New York.

 

 

 
“I have a song with Shekhinah, but couldn’t include it to my set, I just did a remix for a Snoh Aalegra song and could’ve had her at the show, but the song doesn’t fit the set. I build a set based on just music and then the artists would come through that selection,” said the Grammy award-winning producer at his send-off party in Fourways.Msaki and Black Coffee have collaborated on a number of songs and she confessed that she had already made plans to be in New York next weekend, even prior to being approached by the producer.Before the party kicked off for the evening, Black Coffee, Msaki, Shoba and Castle Lite Brand Director Colleen Duvenage had a roundtable discussion hosted by actor Lawrence Maleka.Black Coffee explained he’d always had a vision of seeing African music on the world stage, referring to an interview he did while in New York a couple of years ago.

“I’ve just always felt like this music deserves to be on the biggest platform as possible. I used to do interviews back in the day and I remember one journalist asked me, while I was in New York, ‘what are you trying to do’” said Black Coffee.

“My answer was, imagine Superman which is sung by Bucie, being sung by Beyoncé, without changing anything. The genre deserves that. Superman was given the international treatment a few years later by another superstar a few years later: Drake on his More Life album.
