Our fave comedian and late night talk show host Trevor Noah is said to be house-hunting with his rumoured girlfriend, actress Minka Kelly.

According to Entertainment Tonight, Trevor and Minka were spotted house-hunting in Los Angeles, although “it’s unclear if The Daily Show host and the actress were looking to buy a home together or separately.”

The two are rumoured to have spent lockdown living together in Trevor’s New York City apartment (calling it a flat feels disrespectful, doesn’t it?). While for some, being in lockdown with partners has ended their relationships, it seems for Trevor and Minka, it might have had the very opposite effect.

Rumours of the two’s romance – which neither has yet to confirm – have been flying since August, intensifying in September after People magazine published pictures of the two outside Trevor’s apartment building. In the pics, Minka is carrying a whole lot of luggage – indicating this was more than overnight visit!

The month before, People ran a story where a source confirmed that the two were indeed dating. “They’ve very happy. It’s a very serious relationship,” said the source. Obviously Minka ke makoti, mos?

Trevor is currently on the cover of GQ’s Men of the Year edition, looking happy and, um, rich!Earlier this year, Trevor celebrated five years as host of the Daily Show, a gig he took over from the legendary Jon Stewart. He said in a statement: “I’m thrilled to be continuing this amazing journey with both fans of The Daily Show and Comedy Central. It’s really exciting to renew this contract for either five more years or until Kim Jong Un annihilates us all–whichever one comes first.”

Since the pandemic and during lockdown, Trevor’s show has gotten even stronger: he’s proved many a naysayer wrong. He’s had such a good year that when all that snake talk started trending, tweeps decided Trevor was also obviously also using a snake. Jackie really started something.

Jokes aside, fellow comedian Mpho Popps recently gave Trevor props for inspiring his own career path. In an episode of Dinner at Somizi’s, Mpho said: “I didn’t even know that stand up existed until my sister took me to watch Trevor Noah in 2009 in Gold Reef. I sat in the audience and I was like: I think I can do this thing.”

With all that success, fame and adulation, it’s nice to know that Trev isn’t lonely. He was in an IG-official relationship with Jordyn Taylor for three years until 2017. Minka has previously dated Captain America himself, Chris Evans, as well as Grey’s Anatomy actor Jesse Williams. Usistaz has taste!
