The family of the late veteran actor Patrick Shai speak out a year after his passing. January 22nd marked the one year anniversary of the death of the actor. Patrick Shai committed suicide after he experienced cyber bullying. LekgethoThe Shai who is the nephew of the late Patrick Shai spoke to Tshisa-live and said that their family gatherings were never the same after his death.

 

 

 

 

Lekgetho said that picking up the pieces after his death was not easy. He said that he lives with the family and he watched them have breakdowns everyday or atleast twice a week. He said it was one of the hardest things to experience them go through the pain. Patrick Shai was the life of the party during family gatherings according to his nephew. He shared how they missed him now at family gatherings. The family had a special gathering at his grave to celebrate his life and honor him.
