Few weeks ago, the star was trending on Twitter after he was reportedly accused of underpaying employees.

Touch, who has been reinstated to his position, revealed that he has decided to leave the channel at the end of May this year.

Well, Tbo has come out to slam those carrying fake news around as he claimed the documents were “fraudulently fabricated for destructive purposes”.

He revealed that the matter is now with the commercial claims court.

Tbo also said when the new board took over in 2019, the channel was over R19.7 million in debt.

Touch explained that they could have retrenched staff but “opted for a 7%- 11% salary decrease”.

“The current board helped to reduce the amount by half. TV add spend dropped significantly in 2020.”

Taking to Twitter, Thembisa stated how unimpressed and disappointed in Nathi.

Thembisa tweeted that she wants the minister to be held accountable. “Then he must resign and hand himself over to the police,” she said.

Media personality Lootlove quits Metro FM

LootloveTV personality Luthando Shosha, better known as Lootlove, is leaving radio.

She made the announcement on her social media accounts that she had decided to hang up her headphones until it made sense for her to glide on the airwaves again.

Lootlove said: “The last year of my life has bought immense change and also made me incredibly fearless… with that said, I’m hanging up my headphones for now until it makes sense for me to glide on the airwaves again. In order to grow, you have to let go…’’

The former Live presenter explained that her beautiful radio journey started in 2016 with her as a bright-eyed young broadcaster who was ready to take over the airwaves.“And take over the airwaves she did! From #WideAwake with Adil, to doing a house show, a little RnB show on Sundays, heading over and handling #AbsoluteHipHop, then joining Saturday Breakfast With #TheWkndr then doing #TheHolidayViza this past December… it’s been a wild ride,” she said.

The mum of two revealed that she would be presenting her last show this Saturday from 6am to 9am on Metro FM.

Post main imageAward-winning South African actress Florence Masebe has weighed in on Clicks Saga. She took to Twitter to defend cultural activists and Author Thando Mahlangu after Thando was asked to leave Clicks store in Midrand Boulders Shopping because management didn’t like his outfit.

The incident happened this Wednesday 24 March 2021.

Florence said that’s how Thando normally wears every day.
She tweeted: “I have known @Thandomahlangu for a number of years. I have never seen him dressed in any other way except his full isiNdebele attire which he wears with pride. That is his normal everyday wear. Yet he keeps getting told that his cultural dress is not good enough for some spaces.”

On the video that is making rounds on social media, the man who is believed to be a manager is heard saying: “I don’t condone this in my mall. It’s a public place, you are dressed indecently.” The man also added that the mall has a right to admission.
Thando had tweeted about the incident defining it as a “Saddest reality in Africa. “I was subjected to inside the @Clicks_SA store at The Boulders Shopping Center. By the center manager, who said it was his shopping complex. I was told that I’m wearing inappropriate I must go & Omega risk solutions harassed me”
He also told SowetanLive that he was told that he is chasing the customers away. “The guard told me I was merely wearing underwear and this was chasing away customers, and due to this, I was not allowed to buy at the mall. I refused to leave and I told the security guard to call the person who instructed him that he must tell me to leave the mall,” Thando told the publication.

Florence has always been an advocate for local culture and the promotion of IsiNdebele culture. She starred in the first IsiNdebele drama series for SABC 1 called Ikani, she played the role of Bafunani Mahlangu on the series.
