The passing on of the legendary actor Patrick Shai left mzansi people heartbroken. When someone decide to end their life, it’s scary. Sometimes social media is just cruel. Maybe Patrick had to die, but there was no need for people to press deeper the way they did.
At his memorial service, Mrs Shai’s speech left people emotional. When speaking of her late husband Masechaba Shai said he was no saint and people should stop judging him. She went further and said “He was a perpetrator like all of you”. This statement did not sit well with many as they think they shouldn’t be compare to Shai. Zalebs shared the speech and mzansi couldn’t help it but clapped back quickly.
Shai used to abuse his wife years ago. Fans are not happy to be compared with him. “No ways, not me, i never abused women. We know she might be hurting but it is not fair to say we are the same as her late husband”, fans commented. Shai will be buried on Saturday the 29th of January at his home in Dobsonville. May his soul rest in peace.
