Following the tough yet worthwhile road that the contestants had to journey on, only one could take the crown regardless of the many others that ran the race who were also deserving. As the audience or “fans” each crossed their fingers in hope for their favourite to win the prestigious crown, we believe that it is also the timing according to the universe, that decided amongst many other factors.

We can all be in a competition and aim for the number one spot, however, it is different factors that affect the outcome of our encounters in life. Though many came in and did their best, it is one lady, one queen, who stood out amongst the rest and claimed the spot as the universe agreed that it is indeed her time to shine.

With that said, it is the phenomenal Lalela Mswane who takes the crown home as Miss South Africa 2021. A good fight is what she fought and she had a great run in gaining love and support from fellow South Africans throughout the competition. From being a mere competitor amongst the many who entered from the competition’s early stages, to solidly securing her spot in the top 3, we can all agree that she deserves the crown and will make a great Miss SA.
