After ten years of service to one of the most popular television soap operas in Mzansi, Skeem Saam, fans will be disappointed to learn that their favorite actress, Shoki Mmola, will be leaving the show.
Celia, who is married to Alfred Magongwa, was portrayed by Shoki, and Putla Sehlapelo played the role of Alfred. Her impressive acting chops never failed to keep the audience on the edge of their seats throughout the entire show. On Twitter, viewers of the show frequently complimented her acting abilities, but unfortunately, she is no longer a part of the show.
According to a statement that was issued by the SABC, Mmola will not be participating in the new season which will begin on Monday, July 4th, 2022. The reason behind her departure from the show is currently unknown.
