Dawn Thandeka King resign from Uzalo and relocating to Joburg.

Channel director of Mzansi Magic Nomsa Mpiliso confirms the cancellation of their long running show Isibaya after it failed to pick up viewer’s numbers in its time slot “it’s always sad when a show that was popular and loved ends, as it is with the case of Isibaya, however time change and television is about adopting and adapting”. The show will be replaced by a new one ‘Dieploot’ which cast Dawn Thandeka as a starring. Since the show is shot in Jozi, Dawn had to relocate to the city of gold “I look foward to relocate to Joburg again and some of my children are there already, so having my family in one place is going to be exciting for me, and of course I will miss playing Mangcobo. This opportunity couldn’t have come at the perfect time, its time for new opportunity and growth”. The Vataran actress also mentioned that she’s looking foward to shake off her new character “People have seen me in many different roles, but this one was a longest one I played consistently. Working with Mandla N because he knows my approach to a character as we have worked before. The show I’m moving to will complete with my former production at 20:30pm, which Dieploot will air in” she giggled
