I very well could have taken my own life. You may say that the odds were 90% in your favor. “The atmosphere in there was so bad,” she remarked.

Some viewers felt bad for her, while others found her behavior uncalled for, especially as she could be seen smoking pot while speaking to her audience in the video.

The realization that it’s preferable to be alone rather than surrounded by individuals who make a work atmosphere toxic has been a welcome side effect of working from home, which may have been the only alternative to the toxic work environment.

When it comes to employees’ health and happiness, the company culture is a major factor. Employees are more likely to experience burnout if they don’t feel appreciated and supported in their work. Additionally, it will cause workers to either leave their current positions or hunt for new ones.

The bottom line is that no amount of money or effort is worth putting up with a poisonous workplace.

Here are some warning signs to look out for if you’re contemplating accepting a job offer but are concerned about workplace toxicity:

Some of your new coworkers may be quick to spread rumors. You should be wary if, after joining a new company, you find that your coworkers can’t wait for any excuse to start a feud with one another. This shows that the employees value the drama more than their actual jobs.

You won’t be warmly welcomed in the first few days. It is customary to expect coworkers to make an effort to welcome you to the office and introduce yourself when you are a new hire. If there isn’t a warm and inviting atmosphere when onboarding a new worker, the company’s culture likely needs some repair.

Similarly, if a coworker who is supposed to be mentoring you or having you shadow them while you get your workspace organized instead complains and tries to pass you off to someone else, that’s a symptom of a toxic work environment. Staff members who are committed to mentoring new hires rather than letting them to figure things out on their own contribute to a positive work environment. If a coworker doesn’t want to train you or answer your questions about the job, that could be a sign that they aren’t happy with what they’re doing. Perhaps this is evidence that they are not faking it. Because of their low levels of motivation, they are not enthused to give you a tour of the office or tell you about life there.

A indicator that rudeness is the norm in the company is if you encounter it within your first week there. Disrespectful treatment of others is a key factor in creating a toxic work environment. If you find that the company does not value its employees as much as it values its clients, you may want to reconsider your decision to join the company. The truth is that being exposed to persistently harsh or impolite behavior can have a harmful influence on one’s mental health. When supervisors don’t step in, the situation becomes much more worrying.

You spend your first day there dreading what will happen tomorrow. You can tell the difference between a poor day and a truly terrible day by how you react to it. Even minor mishaps, like getting coffee on your shirt or getting stuck in traffic, can ruin an otherwise good day. When you’re feeling down, it’s a terrible day. Right about now is when you need to consider whether or not you want to stick around in a job where you feel unappreciated.

Pay attention to your instincts. If you don’t think you can improve as a person where you’re at, then take action to get out of there before you settle in.

An interview is another opportunity to disclose a potentially hazardous working environment. Be sure to do your homework and ask the correct questions before signing any contracts.

Zimbabwean woman goes for 7 Years pregnant after she stole someone’s husband and someone this to her

Zimbabwean Woman Goes For Seven Years Pregnant After She Was Bewitched for Snatching Someone’s Husband

A 29-year -old Mufakose woman, Alisa Sakile Marova is said to have been pregnant for the past seven years in a suspected case of witchcraft after she allegedly snatched another woman’s husband, NewZimbabwe.com reports.

Alisa fell pregnant when she was 22, but, surprisingly, she went into labour but the baby did not come out.

Doctors told her there was no longer a baby in her tummy despite having confirmed that she was indeed pregnant before.

Destiny Media, a Newzimbabwe.com TV channel, caught up with her early this week and she narrated her ordeal.

Zimbabwean Woman Goes For Seven Years Pregnant After She Was Bewitched for Snatching Someone’s Husband
“There is a man who I used to see who had not told me he was married. His wife came home to the place I used to stay but did not find me home as I had moved. The pregnancy however was not.

“We assume she is the one who bewitched me, but her family denies those accusation.”

She added;

“After I failed to conceive, my stomach started swelling and doctors ran numerous scans but they said there was nothing inside.

“I went to local and South African hospitals but doctors could not establish the problem. Now my doctor says it’s a cyst, but when it is drained my stomach swells back soon afterwards.”

In South Africa, witchcraft is legally recognized as a religion.
Many South African Wiccans have called for the legalization of witchcraft in response to recent publications detailing Canada’s modification of its Criminal Code prohibiting Witchcraft.

Witchcraft is not outlawed in South Africa, yet many Pagans and Witches continue to believe this to be the case. Absolutely not!

Existing legislation inconsistent with the Constitution automatically became invalid (unconstitutional) subject to Parliamentary review when South Africa adopted its first democratic Constitution in 2006, which included a Bill of Rights (Chapter Two of the Constitution – see below) and its constitutional guarantee of the right to equality and freedom of religion and belief for all citizens. This effectively renders the Witchcraft Suppression Act of 1957, which forbade a) claiming familiarity with witchcraft, b) engaging in witchcraft, and c) consulting a medium or other diviner, null and void as of 2006.

In 2016, the South African Law Reform Commission declared that the Witchcraft Suppression Act was unconstitutional due to its prohibition of having knowledge of or practicing witchcraft, confirming that South African Witches have the legal right to practice their religion without interference from the state, in response to an appeal filed by SAPRA in February 2007 calling for a review and the repeal of the Act.

WITCHCRAFT NOTICE: In South Africa, the practice of witchcraft is recognized as a religion with legal protections since 2006.
Of course, while Witches’ freedom of religion is guaranteed by law, regular people don’t always follow the rules when it comes to fair treatment of others. Unfortunately, persecution against Witches is still an everyday reality for many in South Africa.

Since its inception in 2004, SAPRA has performed a number of vital tasks in furtherance of its constitutional mandate, including advocating for the rights and liberties guaranteed to all South African Pagans (including Witches, whether Pagan or not) in the Bill of Rights and providing assistance to South African Pagans and Witches whose constitutionally protected rights and liberties have been violated as a result of unfair discrimination.

Contact the Chief Executive Officer at [email protected] if you are a Pagan or Witch who has faced prejudice or discrimination due to your religious choice or affiliation and would like aid and restitution.

The Department of Social Development published a white paper this week examining family life in South Africa, taking into account statistics from Home Affairs, Statistics South Africa, and other government sources until 2018.

From 2008 through 2017, the number of weddings recorded by the government was on the decline, with the exception of a 0.6% increase between 2016 and 2017. The government said that “the number of weddings reported in 2017 (135,458) was the lowest since 2008 (186,522).”

The number of traditional marriages is also on the decline; in 2017, just 2,588 were recorded by the Ministry of Home Affairs. There were 16,003 traditional marriages in 2008, therefore this is a significant decrease from that number.

Divorce rates have been rising steadily over the past few years, according to other indicators.

The highest number of divorces was recorded in 2009 (30,763) and the lowest was recorded in 2011 (20,980), according to the department’s data. Divorce rates continued to rise steadily from 2012 to 2017.

About 115 female-headed households and 40 male-headed households had divorces finalized in 2017. In 2017, the projected resident population was about 5.7 million, and the crude divorce rate was 0.4 per 1,000.

The government reported a long-term decline in couple-headed families due to falling marriage rates and rising divorce rates in South Africa.

“By 1996, the percentage of two-parent households was already lower than the global average, at 54.7%, while the percentage of single-parent households was significantly higher, at 47.3%.

Within that brief 18-year window, “crossover” occurred, and two-parent households became less common than those with a single breadwinner.

Twenty-nine percent of the world’s children did not have a stable, parent-in-law household in 2018. But only a third (34.4%) had the benefit of living with both sets of grandparents.

Yet, 41.4% of kids lived primarily with their moms, whereas only 3.3% lived primarily with their fathers.

The government said that the percentage of children living with both parents (34.3%), mothers (34.9%), dads (2.8%), and nobody (23%) has not changed significantly since 2007.

Finally! Mzansi is happy as repetitive Jacob Zuma daughter’s Uzalo comes to an end

In 2020 South Africa’s state broadcaster inked a new 3-year deal with SABC1 to keep the show on the air, despite complaints from fans that it has become stale and repetitive.

The production is currently closed and wrapped up last month, earlier this year than normal, as negotiations concerning the show’s renewal were still ongoing when the new deal was announced.

Uzalo finally comes to an end
Production on the Stained Glass-produced series in Durban was set to resume on December 18, but without a new arrangement in place with SABC1, the producers chose to cancel the rest of the year’s filming. The cast and crew of Uzalo will get an extra day off for the holidays.

The new season of Uzalo, which is owned by Gugulethu Zuma Ncube, the daughter of former president Jacob Zuma, and Pepsi Pokane, began airing in March 2021, and production resumed in the first week of January.

Channel24 was informed during the show that “The factory closed for its annual break; production which was scheduled to resume on November 18, 2020. Production, however, has prolonged its hiatus and then restarted the first week of January 2020 as the contractual process has taken longer than expected “.

Insiders say that SABC management have complained about how repetitive and dull some of the Uzalo plots are, and that the cast and crew feel they are underpaid.

“it is the first time that such a long-term arrangement has been put in place and it marks an unequivocal vote of confidence,” SABC1 says of the 3-year deal with Uzalo.

In an interview, Sane Zondi, the programme manager for SABC1, said “As its results have shown, Uzalo deserves this recognition. The property has shattered several previous benchmarks for soap operas and other long-running television shows. It’s the newest addition to the SABC family, and it’s incredible how far it’s come in such a difficult year for both the broadcasting industry and the country as a whole “.

The SABC claims that the extended contract “would offer the SABC and the production adequate opportunity to engage more in workshopping plot developments with the intention to developing more strong storylines, therefore affecting favorably on the overall quality of the show.”

With 8.8 million viewers (22.75 AR) in October and around 4 million viewers watching the show on SABC1 carried on MultiChoice’s DStv satellite pay-TV service, Uzalo has continued to be the most-watched TV show in the country and on SABC1. This is despite the show being forced off-air for five weeks this year after it ran out of produced episodes due to the local impact of the global Covid-19 pandemic in South Africa.

After South Africa entered its lockdown period, which led to a ratings boost across the board for broadcasters as more people stayed home, Uzalo hit 11.4 million (15 April) and 11.1 million (24 April) viewers on two separate occasions this year.

I decided it was best to leave the production immediately. Omuhle, at the Uzalo turnoff
She is now starring as the gorgeous, smart, and cunning Nomaswazi Magwaza in SABC 1’s hit drama series Uzalo.

People were instantly drawn to the character and fascinated by her development.

Now, model and entrepreneur Omuhle Gela has acknowledged that she departed Uzalo due to disagreements with her contract.

“Yes, I’ve regretfully made the decision to depart, I can’t say much right now but I will surely agree I am not happy and deemed it proper to dismiss myself from the production with immediate effect,” she told Zimoja.

Earlier this year, the show featured new characters, and one of them was Omuhle, as part of a reworked narrative for season 8.

She was related to the character Vikizitha, played by Siyabonga Radebe, who expressed to Drum his delight in realizing a lifelong ambition of his “benefit from working conditions more familiar to him in his native KwaZulu-Natal.

Uzalo’s publicist Nomfundo Zondi issued a statement to Drum confirming Nomaswazi Magwaza’s departure from the cast “Not being able to come to terms with SABC 1 over the popular show Uzalo.

“Whatever happens in the future with this, we will let you know. Stained Glass would like to extend our gratitude to Omuhle once more for being a part of our family and we hope that she finds much happiness and success in her future endeavors “Added on to that, she says.
