Linda Sebezo (born 11 November 1964) is a prominent South African actress, singer, and dancer. Among her popular television roles is Koko in the SABC1 sitcom Gauteng Maboneng. The veteran actress has also appeared in many television serials. She has entertained viewers in the country with her exceptional acting skills.


 

 

She was born on 11 November 1964 and is sometimes credited as Linda Sebenzo. She boasts of over four decades in the movie industry. She kicked off her acting career with Gibson Kente Productions in 1980.

As an actress, she has appeared in many local television serials. She played a starring role in Gauteng Maboneng. She was cast as Koko in the SABC1 sitcom. Since she entered the acting industry in 1980, Linda has continued to tour both the local and international levels. She has appeared in several roles in Generations, Hlala Kwabafileyo, Kwakhala Nyonini, Soul Buddyz, and more. As a director, she is the brain behind The Call and Mfowethu, both are Gibson Kente’s plays, in 2009.

She has also participated in developing young talents into realizing their dreams in dancing, singing, and acting. In 2012, she made a second appearance in an episode of the show titled Inheritance as Mrs. Letoaba. In the next year, 2013, she landed a starring role as Ma Josephine Rannko in Samsokolo, an Mzansi Magic Sitcom. She landed a guest-starring role in an episode of Ngempela, an SABC1 docu-drama in 2014. Still, in 2014, Linda landed a starring role in Sticks and Stones, an SABC1 drama series. In 2017, she landed another starring role as Sis Dina in Rented Family, an SABC1 sitcom. The character is a former beauty queen who lives on her past glories
