Lehasa leaving Skeem Saam? Here’s why

Speculations are running high that skeem saam actor Cedric Fourie who plays the character of Lehasa Maphosa is exiting the educational soapie.

As per his story line Lehasa is likely to go to prison for his crimes and mainly for murdering Fannie Masemola.

Over the weekend reports have been circulating on social media that this probably means the end of the road for Lehasa.

Lehasa could be kissing the small screens goodbye as he is likely to be thrown in prison.

Well the Skeem Saam production and management team have not yet confirmed or said anything about the rumored exit of one of their current main characters.

This is not the first time such reports have surfaced on social media about Cedric Fourie leaving the show.

If he gets arrested, writers will probably find a way to bring him back like they did with Lelo (Amanda Du Pont) who later left the show for good.

My paternal grandfather named me Fundiswa, a name I grew up hating NOT understanding the generational curses he was breaking at THAT moment.

As the only grandchild he named I now understand what he was doing for our family. His son and his wife, my parents left SA for 11 years and raised us out of the country for THAT specific reason. Becuase my grandparents wanted ALL of us to be educated at a time when apartheid wouldn’t allow it for us black people. My parents only saw their parents twice in this time becuase of THIS sacrifice.

Now I love my middle name……still hate all the abbreviations, Fura, Mafundi, Fufu, etc😩

BUT education looks good on me………signed future

Mzansi came to her post and congratulated her for bagging a doctorate. The star did not share the institute she attended while pursuing her doctorate, but many are inspired by how she has managed to multi-task as a student and full-time entertainer.
