Singer Makhadzi and her alleged businessman boyfriend Lawrence Mulaudzi have allegedly taken their relationship to new heights, ZiMoja reported.

According to the publication, Mulaudzi started dating the MaGear hitmaker last year. And, by December, he is said to have allegedly sent a delegation to her family to ask for her hand in marriage.

 

 

 

 

A close source spilling the tea to the publication said Makhadzi is being treated like a princess. “He popped the question around the festive season. He gave her a beautiful stone but we doubt she is going to rock it in public or on the engagement ring finger to avoid being asked questions,” the source was quoted as saying.

Early last year, Makhadzi took to Facebook and revealed that she was ready to be in a romantic relationship again. This comes years after she and the Jerusalema hitmaker Master KG broke up.

According to TshisaLIVE, the duo first broke up publicly in 2020. They reportedly claimed that they wanted to focus on their careers.

“So I must be single until when? Yhooo… Guys I miss being in love,” she penned.

At another instance, responding to her fans on Instagram LIVE, she reportedly tried assuring them that her romantic affiliation with Master KG is over for good.

“What happened between Master KG and I is we decided to be a brother and sister. We are OK. We are cool,” she was quoted as saying.

Nonetheless, it seems some fans haven’t gotten the memo. Master KG has since been hilariously roasted on social media after news broke that Makhadzi and her alleged new bae are engaged.

On the 12th [of February] was when my incredible gynae broke the news. I’m much better than last week. My parents have been next to me,” she wrote.“I’m strong, and I will never give up. Thank you to those that have been checking up on me. I was so hopeful,” she added.
